6 Local Wedding Venues I am loving right now and why

Greenhouse Two Rivers - The Atrium - Enchanted Hills - Sparrow Lane - The Co-Op Venue - Dogwood Canyon

There are many amazing venues in the Springfield/Branson area but these 6 are truly special. They have all treated me so well and treated my clients well. Some of these venue owners have become more than fellow vendors, but true friends. They have all been present during weddings, made accommodations, and made sure all the vendors are well taken care of. (below photos are all done by Abigail Derrick Photo )

I mean its not only my most common venue to visit but it has the best lighting in the day! Those white and glass hallways can’t be beat! The owners are super awesome and so so nice! And I can’t forget the bar tender/manager is pretty dang cool too. They have plenty of space, awesome scenery, and a new outdoor bar that’s dang cool! You can’t go wrong with an indoor or outdoor wedding here. They are my most popular venue to shoot at.

The Atrium

First, the owners are extremely helpful. They have tons and tons of ideas and services for you. They also have a little box of goodies for the photogs to use for the details. That is crazy helpful. They have a place for your fur friends, and also just got a new bar! There is even a little room for family and snacks!! The view is hands down the best view in Branson for a wedding, and their outdoor setup is great! If you want a wedding with a view, this is it.

The Stewart Farm Co-Op

First I have to say this is the most unique place out there right now. You can truly make it your own, You can stay in the shipping container or epic tent for a cool experience, or just frolic in the woods. If you want a cool and unique area you can make your own, you need this pace. But that’s not even my favorite part. Lacey and Dustin and the most hardworking individuals I have ever seen. Last summer I had the pleasure of spending a day in the garden with Lacey. It was amazing to watch her work, be a mom, and a boss babe. She and Dustin own a few different ventures including custom furniture and and a whole farm. They are just so dang driven, and so is their entire operation. You will not regret spending your biggest day on their property!

Enchanted Hills

I personally LOVE Enchanted Hills and of course the owner Athena. She is the freaking nicest and kindest human there is. Enchanted Hills is awesome for a local elopement or small to medium sized wedding. The waterfall is the largest and prettiest in the area and the pond is hard to beat too. I have hosted 2 workshops here and shot here many times. It’s gorgeous in all the seasons and super close to town. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Sparrow Lane

I feel honored to have shot the first wedding here and to be booked here again this year. To be honest its popular with the bright and airy style weddings. But it had to be on my list because the owner Callie and her husband have put their heart and soul in this place, and it truly shows. It’s freaking gorgeous and has all the things you need. Not to mention the biggest getting ready suite ever! Which I love. If you are looking for the white barn/chapel look, this is it!

Dogwood Canyon

Dogwood Canyon is part of the Johnny Morris owned venues/attraction. But this one is ran by the Wonders of Wildlife and is a nonprofit. Let’s just say, its all epic, crazy beautiful, perfect, and another well taken care of Morris property. But, my favorite part is the endless photo-ops. There are many waterfalls on the property, lakes that are blue as can be, wild animals, bridges, history, and a sweet chapel on a hill that overlooks another waterfall. It’s the best of everything that make the midwest great! If you want to be in nature and have to coolest pics the midwest offers, this is it.

There are many more venues in the local area but these 6 are ones I frequently return too, recommend, and enjoy. They are not just a pretty place, they all have something special and someone special behind them. I know I can direct a client to any of these venues and they will be well taken care of.
