FAQ

What is a second shooter?

I recommend second shooters for weddings with multiple locations or getting ready locations far from ceremony site. It is a great way to make sure the bride and groom are both captured. But this is not a must have for average size weddings.

Do we get a meeting?

YES! We will meet before you book on the phone or in person. I'll send that wedding guide your way too. Then we meet again before the wedding to finalize details. But I am always available for you to text and call.

What is the wedding guide?

The wedding guide is a guide full of tips and tricks for your engagement session, wedding day, and other wedding details. It tells you how much time is needed for each photo op, timeline help, the details that are most important, and a a style guide for your engagement session. It is complimentary, it can not be used to leverage the price.

How much is the retainer?

The retainer is $800 and is paid when you sign the contract and locks in your date. It is non-refundable due to you taking a date that I can no longer book, it pays for the corresponding time, and client meetings.

How many photos will I get and how do I get them?

The amount of photos depend on the time you use and events of the day. The packages come with full download rights to all photos. The galleries also have optional access to buy prints and albums. Usually galleries have 500-1200 (full wedding) photos. With a second shooter that adds about 200-300 photos. Elopement galleries are 200-700 photos.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes I do! I am always wiling to travel! Let's go on an adventure! I've shot in Washington State, Bahammas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, and Florida. Contact to learn more.

How do engagement sessions work?

1 hour - 35+ images - 2 outfits

I give you a style guide and a Pinterest board to help you choose the best outfits and location for your engagement.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You do not. I don't have albums/prints in my packages for cost saving on your side, and tax savings on mine. Your digital gallery will have an option to buy prints but is not mandatory. It is through Mpix. I recommend ordering albums from Artifact Uprising. Albums are only offered with Package 4.

Do you charge for travel?

For weddings 6+ hours round trip a hotel/gas fee is required of $150.
Airfare/hotel for destination weddings are separate and based on destination.

What is considered an elopement?

Under 20 guests. Intimate ceremony and small dinner. Local or destination. This package can NOT be used for traditional weddings. This is for intimate ceremonies only.
